Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 4:50PM My site was due for a refresh, so I changed the “Events” section from a selection of my favorite shoots to more of an archive of highlights from all the events I’ve shot in the last few years. There are now sixteen events to view, including the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival Drive-In, which featured BMX legend Mat Hoffman catching some serious air on the half pipe. Click on the picture below or the “Event Archive” link at the top of the page to go to the new section.

Permalink Opening night of Four Seasons Lodge in NYC
Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:31PM
Michelle snapped this photo on our way into the theater on opening night of Four Seasons Lodge. I’m so proud to be a part of this film. The premier was stellar. A load of the folks featured in the film were in attendance, and there was actually an engaging, emotional Q&A with the director, Andrew Jacobs, afterwards. It was worth the wait!

Permalink Four Seasons Lodge documentary opening in NYC
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 4:18PM The documentary I was a cinematographer on, along with Avi Kastoriano, Justin Schein, and the legendary Albert Maysles, is finally getting its theatrical premier Wednesday, November 11th at the IFC Center in New York City. The film was directed by your favorite New York Times China bureau correspondent, Andrew Jacobs. For more information, visit the film’s website here.

The film centers around a group of Holocaust survivors who, years ago, created a vacation colony in the Catskills. For decades they have convened at the Four Seasons to celebrate their survival, but they may be facing their last summer together. It’s been over three years since we wrapped shooting this documentary and I’ve never seen a cut of the film, so It’s very exciting to say the least.

Permalink 2009 FiFi Awards
Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:40PM I shot the 2009 Fragrance Foundation awards, better known as the FiFi’s, on May 27th. This was my 4th time shooting the awards for Dalzell Productions and they really run a tight ship. This year was no exception as the cavernous downtown armory on Lexington Avenue and 25th Street in Manhattan was completely transformed for the event. It was a great party and a fantastic show.
